The 1  International Conference on Innovations and Future scope of Mechanical Engineering in Digital Era will be held during 20 - 21 December, 2024, at Anurag University Hyderabad. About Department of Mechanical Engineering

      The Department of Mechanical Engineering was Established in 2004 and received accreditation from the NBA under Tier-I in 2015. Subsequently, it has been reaccredited twice, with validity extended until June 2025. The department has a team of 37 qualified and dedicated faculty members,out of which 13 Doctorates and 24 pursuing Ph.Ds with various Specializations. Through Outcome Based Education (OBE) and Project Based Learning (PBL) models, students are offered a comprehensive blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Additionally, the department offers value-added courses in ANSYS and SOLIDWORKS, enhancing students' proficiency in these areas. With strong ties to the industry, it has established 19 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading engineering companies. Moreover, it houses an exclusive library comprising over 300 volumes and e-journals, supports active professional chapters (ISTE, SAE, ISHRAE), and hosts student clubs such as the FEM, MARK, and CAD clubs.
