It has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a very welcome surprise. Its 1,284 x 2,856 resolution is less dense, but that refresh rate just keeps scrolling and animations feeling snappy.
In day-to-day use, be it videos, Instagram or reading articles, the display holds up surprisingly well. Display is bright and can handle indoor lighting, but direct sunlight will make it difficult to see.

On the software side, it boots Android 13 via HiOS 12.6. The UI works about as good as expected on a budget device, but yeah, you’ll find plenty of pre-installed apps and ads.

But if you want high-end gaming, blazing-fast charging or a 5G connection, you should look elsewhere. But for most everyday tasks such as chatting, consuming contents and social media, the Spark 10 provides a very good cost per value.
In a universe where budget smartphones have to cut corners to reach an affordable price, Tecno is offering a balanced device with a handful of downsides.
